The Montana Sportsmen Alliance would like to congratulate Dale Tribby on his career achievement award. Dale is the recently retired BLM wildlife biologist from Miles City, current chair of the Upland Game Bird Council, and a sage grouse expert!
On Wednesday, March 8 at the North American Wildlife and Natural Resources Conference, Dale Tribby was presented with the BLM’s Linda Seibert Career Achievement in Conservation Award. During the presentation, BLM mentioned his sage-grouse work with the University of Montana, 23 years as the BLM liaison with the National Wild Turkey Federation and his relationship with landowners and energy companies.
Dale said he could of accomplished little without supportive managers, supervisors, co-workers and the many ranchers who allowed him onto their ranches and invited him into their homes. In addition, Dale said he was blessed to have worked with many other outstanding individuals from state and federal agencies, non-government organizations, ranchers, and energy companies.
